TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.

What You Trade On

Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is something about priorities.

Pair that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.

Safety

This is the thing that matters. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
